Maryland, is holding a series of public offerings of the Software Engineering
Institute's 3-day course: "Introduction to CMMI".
For dates, additional information,
or to register, please see the full announcement.

Abridge Technology specializes in helping you leverage the Capability Maturity
Model Integration (CMMI) and the legacy Software Capability Maturity Model (CMM) to improve
organizational and project capability and efficiency. Abridge Technology
has assisted industry and government with Software CMM-based process improvement since
1992, Acquisition CMM-based process improvement since 1996, and CMMI-based
process improvement since 2000.
Abridge Technology also helps organizations adopting and implementing other
engineering and quality frameworks and methods including Agile Methods,
ISO 9000, ISO/IEC 15504 (SPICE), and measurement-focused organizational evaluation and improvement.
Abridge Technology has extensive experience in successful process improvement
in all types of organizations and environments ranging from very small
organizations (less than 20 employees) to very large (more than 100,000 employees),
covering a wide variety of industrial organizations ranging from pure software
organizations to hardware-intensive systems organizations to internal Information
Technology organizations. We have experience at all levels of Civil Government
(Federal, State, and County) and with a variety of Defense Organizations in both
classified and unclassified environments.
If you are interested in process descriptions, Abridge Technology has an
"80% Solution" that consists of a set of defined best practices in areas including
project management, configuration management, requirements management,
quality assurance, risk
management, etc. As a standard service, we can review your organizational
context and goals and then tailor our 80% Solution into a 95% Solution that
is specific to your organization. After piloting, you take ownership of
your tailored solutions for ongoing evolution and improvement. This
overall approach is substantially less expensive than you developing all
your process descriptions from scratch.
